A Humor T Shirt Lights Up the Mood!

For those of you living on the east coast the weather has been completely disgusting lately.  Does not matter how long you wait, but as the day moves on it gets uglier and colder outside.  The wind is picking up.  The rain is falling more often.  And the sun has not been out for days.  Many of us are getting sick, staying under the covers, with antibiotics and drinking lots of hot fluids.  Just thinking about all this depresses an individual.  How could it not?  We all long for the days of sun, sand, beach and pool, not snow, wind ice and cold!

So how do we get out of these funky and depressing moods?  For starters, during this season Hollywood seems to take advantage of the cold weather, and thankfully there are many new movies that are constantly being released every weekend.  Many of these movies include a whole list of romantic comedies, funny animated movies, and a whole range of other hilarious movies to watch.  While sitting in the theater you cannot help but laugh and smile at some of the ridiculous things that are said on screen or at the hysterical antics the characters are trying to pull off!  Just sitting in that dark theater can help make your whole mood change for a couple of hours.

Another way to help change your mood is by wearing colors and clothing that make you feel relaxed and comfortable.  Studies show that the clothes you pick out every morning are a reflection of your mood, and whatever clothes you wear can change or magnify the mood you are in.  This means if you wake up in the morning feeling depressed you are much more likely to go for clothing of a darker shade and depressing undertones, but a way to help change that is to wear clothing that make you happy.  Some examples of “happy clothing” are shirts and t-shirts with bright colors and funny slogans.  There are so many funny tees and clothing to wear to lighten up your mood.  Some might even call such a t-shirt a humor t shirt because of how well it can make you and those around you feel on such gloomy days!  So listen up!  Put on some great clothing that makes you feel amazing. Clothing that will help you relax and laugh during these ugly days.  Go watch a funny movie and stop feeling like the whole world is coming to an end – it is not!

Crazy Person? Crazy T-Shirts!

Have your friends, family, coworkers, or all of the above ever called you crazy?  Do you see yourself as someone who goes crazy at times, has fun, and likes to make others laugh with your crazy antics?  If this is the case then we only think it is right that you show off your quirky personality and spread it to a much larger population.  This way not only do your close friends, family and coworkers get to experience your crazy humor, but so do complete strangers who you might pass as you walk down the streets.  The way to do this is by making sure you wear a crazy t shirt!!

These t shirts do not only go for crazy personalities, but it can also be a wonderful outlet for those crazy and inventive and artistic minds and imaginations.  By coming up with some outrageous and what others might call impossible design you get to put your work out there and in one of the best ways possible.  The main thing is to make sure you find a company with the personnel that can actually get your crazy design printed right so that you really end up walking away with a genuine custom crazy t shirt.  You do not want an incompetent screen printer messing up your design and having your whole warped creation changed and not the way you imagined it – that would be just wrong!

Humor T Shirts, Overrated or Perfect Anytime and Anywhere?

Do humor t shirts really make people laugh, especially strangers?  Do people really think about them later in their day when they are feeling a little depressed?  Do they share what they saw and heard with their friends, family and coworkers?  Or is it all a bunch of hype over a type of shirt that has just become popular over the years?  Can it really be an instant mood changer, and if it can, how is it that people have not written any studies on it or have their thoughts and ideas published anywhere?  Were experiments done to check out the hypothesis that humor t shirts make people feel better?

Well if you thought that the idea of humor t shirts making people feel better was only a bunch of hype and had no substantial evidence you are WRONG!  It has actually been shown that certain shades of colors as well as slogans, quotes and pictures, can and do effect the mood of people.  If you see the right color you will feel better, or worse – it all depends!  It has also been proven that when you pick out your clothes you think about how you feel that day and about what is on that day’s schedule.

If you still do not believe this, why not try it out for yourself?  Put on a certain dark, black and “depressing” shirt you own.  Notice as you walk by a crowd of people how they will start to frown.  This will be especially so when they were initially smiling when they came across you, but once they see your shirt, they cannot help it, they instantly go sad.  On another day switch it up.  Wear a bright colored shirt that has some inspiration quote about how life moves on, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and that things always get better.  Or you can wear one with a song lyric that makes people happy and laugh that most people know.  Or even go with a funny cartoon or joke.  Watch how so many people will laugh and smile as they pass you.  Some might even point and smile really big, maybe even laugh out loud.  If a group of friends walk by you together you might notice how they start talking about it.  Humor t shirts really have this effect on people!  It is no joke. No lie!  Really, try it… I dare you!

Offensive T Shirts? No Way!

In this day an age it is considered a compliment when you call someone by a word or phrase that might be considered derogatory and offensive in other cases and situations.  Now, I will not start naming all those “offensive” words, terms and phrases – I am pretty sure that all of you reading this can perfectly imagine what I am thinking of and talking to you about.   No need to say them here.  But what about if you wanted them printed on a t shirt?  How should these words and phrases be taken when they are in black and white (or any other color you might choose) right there on your chest?  Are they offensive or not?

Let us go with NOT!  These words, phrases and terms have become a part of American culture, and more often than not considered as something funny or as a joke.  When some of these words, terms and phrases are plastered for people to see, or said in a public place, they are usually said and also taken in a joking and humorous manner.  To some they are even seen as a kind of term of endearment between close friends.  This also means that you have to be careful with what you print.  You do not want to cross the line from humorous to offensive.

This is why offensive t shirts can be tricky, and it is important to get a second opinion.  Crossing the line can be dangerous and hurtful for many. You might think something is really funny, and it happens that while you do most other reasonable people do not. This can be due to different life experiences and outlooks. A separate person will be able to tell you if the shirt is actually funny. You can also think of this person as the one who will help you come up with something else to print on your shirt if what you had in mind is really very inappropriate. Make sure to choose your humor wisely…it is an important social lesson. It is important to worry about whether something you print would be considered offensive to the general public or a very small amount of people. It could be that while some random individual might think what you have printed is offensive, but you cannot hinder your freedom of expression on account of a few individuals. You need to be able to express yourself at the same time that you respect the many feelings of others.

Hurricane Sandy Cannot Bring Us Down

Sunday, October 28, 2012.  You would think it would be like any other Sunday.  People watching the football game in their living rooms and cheering on their favorite team, children playing in the park, and some men and women getting some food and snacks at the supermarkets and local shops to tide them, and any kids they may have, for the rest of the week.  This Sunday was a little bit different than any other.  Whole shelves of bread and canned foods were completely wiped out.  Stores all over the tri-state area reported that generators were completely sold out this weekend.

All the commotion, all the chaos going on, has to do with a woman named Sandy.  Now, this Sandy is not the good girl gone bad so that she may be with her high school sweetheart Danny Zuko like in the movie Grease.  This Sandy started off bad, and she looks like she is going to continue on her evil path of destruction.  She seems to be catching up speed and many people are being evacuated from their homes.  Everyone at every resort and hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey have been told to leave and anyone who lives near the coastline have been told to leave immediately.

These evacuation plans have put people in a frenzy.  The amount of news coverage Hurricane Sandy has gotten has made her very famous these last few days.  News channels all over the world are reporting on the devastating storm that has struck the east coast of the United States.  People are constantly checking online and calling their local officials to find out if their area, or “zone”, is ordered to evacuate.  In the case of a possible evacuation for certain neighborhoods people are trying to stay up to date on the local shelters and any friends or relatives outside their zone that they might be able to stay at.
